Jacqueline Partida is a recent graduate from UC Merced who earned her BA in psychology and minor in public health. While studying abroad, Maria Romo-Gonzalez and her created “Poder a la Mujer” at a women’s justice center in Oaxaca, Mexico. This project focused on promoting self-empowerment, healthy relationships, and community building. Inspired by this work, she supported her local Valley Crisis Center by organizing a clothing drive, raising funds, and attending the annual end-domestic violence march last year.
