Mission:
Each year, we assist hundreds of students with issues regarding the University. These cases inform our advocacy for changes in University policy that prioritize and protect students’ rights and general welfare. Learn more about our work below:
In 2020, our office helped students with 681 individual cases, and closed 558 – compared to 471 in 2019. This growth was largely driven by increased academic misconduct allegations stemming from online learning:
- Academic: 277 cases
- Financial Aid: 250 cases
- Conduct: 250 cases
- Grievance: 102 cases
