Erica Goodwin, Title IX: Road to Compliance

SUMMARY OF RESEARCH
Erica’s research focused on Title IX compliance from both a regulatory and legal perspective. Campus implementation of Title IX requires an understanding of both the administrative and judicial enforcement functions of the law, which her paper dissects and analyzes. Erica researched Title IX case law as well as OCR guidelines and clarifications.

BIO
Erica graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2019. She combined her background in policy and advocacy with her legal studies to advance Title IX issues on campus and promote reproductive justice in the campus community. Prior to law school Erica was a Congressional staffer and Manager at a D.C. lobbying firm.
