David Ahmadian obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience from UCSD in 2019. Throughout the “UC Speaks Up” project, he was involved in conducting in-depth interviews and leading focus group discussions with other undergraduates to better understand campus climate regarding topics such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, and dating violence. Currently, David is applying to medical school, where he hopes to learn the skills that will make him a capable physician and a leader in healthcare education and disease prevention in his community. David is grateful for the opportunity to have been involved in a first-of-its-kind study at UCSD that will help to enhance violence prevention and resources for survivors at UCSD.
