Araz Majnoonian was an undergraduate research intern for the “UC Speaks Up” study and received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UCSD. She was actively involved at UCSD as a Student Health Advocate and a Peer Health Coach, promoting health and well-being to her peers. She plans to pursue a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology after gaining more work experience in the public health sector. Her research interests include sexual assault prevention and education, women’s health, and family planning.
